Title of the Position: Office Support & Maintenance Assistant

Type of Contract: Fixed Term Contract
Contract Duration: Five (05) Years
Gross Annual Salary range (inclusive of Festival Bonus, Gratuity and Provident Fund): BDT 318,477/- to BDT 368,664/-
Duty Station: Head Office, Dhaka
Major Areas of Responsibility:
Ensuring maintenance plan for Concern office building and houses is implemented on time with quality and in a cost effective manner.
Contributing to the planning for the replacement and repair of faulty assets and equipments to keep the environment safe, secure and workable.
Responding to emergency situations for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns and for the convenience of office staff, international staff and visitors.
Ensure logistics arrangement of meeting rooms (training/meeting lunch snacks and other equipments etc.) as per requisition.
Participating actively in team planning and other meetings, working to set common objectives and goals and striving to ensure these are successfully achieved.
As a member of the Facilities Management Team to work collaboratively with other teams, departments, units and programmes to ensure best practices are understood, captured, documented and disseminated
Contribute to the process of implementing quality programmes by ensure that the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) on Quality and Accountability are effectively implemented throughout the organisation, and at the country programme level.
Diploma/Higher Secondary level education.
Technical training/Diploma on general maintenance from authorized institutes will get preference
Job related experience and knowledge:
03-05 years of progressively responsible work experience in relevant field of office building and house maintenance. INGO experience in the same field will be given preference.
Good knowledge in operating basic tools for repair and maintenance.
Understanding on Health & Safety issues.
Good understanding on security management of office facilities.
Basic English Communication skills is desired.
